NBN price increase 2026: why did my internet bill change?
NBN Co changed wholesale prices from 1 July 2026. Retail internet providers set their own customer prices, so a wholesale change does not automatically mean your retail bill will move by the same amount.
What changed on 1 July 2026?
NBN Co said annual wholesale price changes took effect from 1 July 2026. The change varied by speed tier. Your provider may also have its own pricing, discounts and plan structure.
What should I check on my internet bill?
Compare the recurring plan price, speed tier, discounts, promotional expiry dates and any one-off charges with an earlier bill. This helps separate a genuine plan-price change from other invoice items.
